“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step.” ~ Unknown
I’m hanging out with Sir Paul tonight. He’s doing a live show on YouTube from Grand Central Station promoting his new album while I scrub the house clean. Didn’t matter that it was streaming. He still started thirty minutes late. It’s the rock and roll thing to do. Poor guy is super hoarse. I saw him on Jimmy Fallon last night and he was hoarse then, too. Doesn’t matter. I think the guy could be at death’s door and he’d still do a great show because his musicianship hasn’t aged a day. He’s coming to Lexington in June 2019. Everyone asked if I was going. Naturally, I said yes, but tickets hadn’t gone on sale yet. They went on sale this past Tuesday morning and I didn’t buy one because they were stupid expensive and not nearly as good as I had last year in Chicago. I’ll roll the dice and see what comes available closer to the show. Besides, I’ll always have Chicago (with Barb and Pam), and that’s alright with me, kinda like my Friday night date.
