I did more CD photography way back when I was a starving artist. (Note I only did the photographs, not the artwork/graphics nor did I didn't provide the cover of Mother Jane's "Can't Complain", Bliss McCain and Taildragger) They're fun to do sometimes, especially if the artist isn't too set in their idea of what I'm supposed to do...could be why I don't do more!
Like the CD covers, promotional shoots waned as I moved away from art as a profession. Oddly enough, I do well with kids. I can't explain that to save my life! In any case, I just don't shoot many portraits because it's not my forte nor do I have the time.
I've been the staff photographer for Lexington's NPR affiliate WUKY (91.3) Where NPR Rocks since the turn of the century (I always wanted to say that).
I've got a ton of pix from them but, like so many others, they're not digital.
