Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.” ~ Clive Ollies

no foolin'
no foolin’

I so wanted to pull pranks on everyone today, but it was not to be. I was way too busy all day, but in a good way, and it started with this groovy presentation by MLIS students Heidi Taylor-Caudill and Whitney Hays. They put together a really nice virtual exhibit on immigrants in the Eastern Kentucky coalfields using Creativist – an equally groovy story telling format – as well as a corresponding photo exhibit in the lobby of Special Collections. I normally loathe early morning meetings, but these ladies did such a good job and so genuinely enthusiastic about what they’d learned, I couldn’t help but enjoy the moment. Well done, ladies, and thanks for doing the hard work.
