Wally is a most faithful companion. Tonight the yard got it’s first haircut. If I could rig a sidecar on the riding mower, I’m sure Wally would adore a ride along. Instead, he’s forced to watch from the sidelines. Still, he is a beautiful boy set against the purple iris sunset backdrop, and for him, for this sight, for the tiny piece of land I call home, I am truly grateful.
