“For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.”

apple happiness (snapseed)

I came home from work, dragged my chair to the Jonathan apple tree to face the western sun, and soaked up as much warmth as I could. The weather has been bad for spring blooms, but my granny apple trees have loved it. I expect they’ll be just fine and dandy with the upcoming cold snap this weekend. While that means fewer minutes in the sun for me, I’m like the apple trees; it’s all okay. With every spring I grow more grateful for the time I have in the sun, and out. Plus, Wally was by my side basking, too. How could I be anything but happy?
