“You are the answer to somebody’s prayer.” Mary Carroll-Hackett

Another variety of ornamental cherry has bloomed on campus. Despite last night’s hard freeze, the blossoms were still hanging today. The snowstorm expected tomorrow night may do it in. Meanwhile, I’ve been up to my ears trying to decide whether to remodel the house or just buy another one. You’d think this would an easy decision, but when you start looking at the billions of ways to finance a remodel, then deal with the logistics of a remodel versus just moving, there’s a lot to consider. It kind of makes my head hurt. Just to put that in perspective, my kitchen was a disaster when I bought my house eleven years ago. That’s how long I’ve been thinking about remodeling. And now that I’m right at the edge of signing the paper, I suddenly feel sick. If I didn’t love where I live this would be a lot easier. This is a first world problem and I know it. I’m incredibly grateful to even have a roof over my head and a warm place to sleep let alone a choice of which house I want. I hope I never take that for granted.

You know that house we took your Dad to look at, that would have been perfect for you. No steps two car garage big bedrooms walk in closets, nice livingroom and kitchen ( already finished) master on one end and, etc.!!!! Compare the price of that house verses the cost of remodeling. If your cost is more, maybe you might want to look around a little more before making a decision. Just thinking out loud. I lived 30 year at a house and loved it and the neighborhood, but when I had to move two a one floor. I didn’t miss it like I thought I would. I have nice neighbors here two. Something to think about!! Love you Kopana ❤️❤️

I know. It was the perfect house. Oh well. I’ve been looking around since last year, and remodeling is the better deal right now. It’s really tough to know for certain though.
