When I think of goodness, I think of Barbara Plested, Gary Thurman, and Pamela Jumper Thurman. Lance talked about them all the time, but it was years before we finally met. Even though he talked very fondly of them, he didn’t accurately describe their high level of total awesomeness. The three amigos are on a three week tour from Louisiana to Michigan. The closest they came to Lexington was Florence (Kentucky, not Italy). Stacy Yelton and I wasted no time in setting out for Florence (Kentucky, not Italy). It was a few hours of fellowship that was most welcomed. On the drive home, we were treated to a Super Moon on the left and thunderstorms on the right. The evening couldn’t have been more magical with four of the most incredible people I’ve ever known.
