“Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

icky as it looks

The photo was taken yesterday, but if I added a torrent of rain and some thunder and lightning, it could have been taken today. Winter was cold when I was little. Consistently so. By the late 1980’s the winters had become more dreary cold rain than anything else. This year’s cycle has followed that trend. Oh, sure we had some super cold days in January, but the skies have opened up and emptied their contents of late. It’s a really good thing that I love dreary. Not everyone shares that love.

    Hi Kopana!

I really enjoy your blog – great images and writing style. When I feel homesick for Kentucky I check in with The Outhouse.
