This little sunflower has remained stationed in my kitchen since I brought it home from Ohio’s RenFaire in 2012. Duane Adams bought it for me. The seller assumed we were together, and Duane obligingly bought the sweet little flower without letting on that we weren’t. Chivalry isn’t dead. And so, my little sunflower will remain in its port until it completely falls apart, or I manage to coerce Duane to take me back to RenFaire for another faux affair (if his wife can spare him for the day). I smile every time I look at this little thing. It holds such wonderful memories.
