See that perfect halo around the cupola? That’s what I saw when I got out of the car this morning. For all the mornings when I’ve looked upon this building at roughly the same time, I’ve never seen the sun situated so perfectly. I reached for my Canon, only to find the battery dead. An hour earlier, I’d discovered my phone was also dead. (both rare events) I had time to manage a 20% charge, just enough to snap this natural effect. The image works nicely with snapseed’s new and improved frames, I think.
