I had a fantastic day. It started with a great conversation about cultural ties of coal communities. That lead to another great conversation, and then another, and another, and another. After lunch with my friend, Ruth, we stopped by the art museum to look at a small collection of perfume bottles. They’re delicate little things; individually gorgeous, collectively exquisite, much like my conversations. I am one of the luckiest people on the planet to have such meaningful people in my life.
