Herakut: The German duo create large murals all over the world. They created two such public art pieces in downtown Lexington last summer. Today, I was photographing Riley Morrow’s eighth month at the old courthouse. While I was waiting for them I stumbled upon the largest of the two works. I find collaborative art like this very compelling, and I’d wanted to photograph them as they were creating it. That didn’t happen. No matter, it’s still beautiful, and what a pleasant surprise on a cold afternoon.
