There’s this hill just off I-64 between Mt. Sterling and Owingsville with three large crosses at the very top. At both sunset and sunrise they’re especially noticeable. Otherwise, they kind of blend in, and it would be easy to miss them. I’ve wanted to photograph them for a long time, but the busy highway makes it tough. Right now, they’re doing construction so traffic has slowed a great deal. On my way to Morehead yesterday morning I whipped out the camera, wrong lens and all, and took my chances for a half discernible capture. It’s a start.
