I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay.
Small acts of kindness and love.” ~ J.R.R. Tolkien (Gandalf)

A few months ago I got an email from my former acupuncturist, Sara Hamilton. She left practice when she became pregnant. Three years later, she was back and in a new location, Baby Moon; a center offering yoga, massage, acupuncture and various classes to women and babies. The only problem, I was just too busy to see her, that is, until today. I adored Sara the second I met her all those years ago. She’s warm, kind, soft-spoken, and very attuned to the human body and mind; the key element in any good practitioner. We spent most of our time catching up; me sharing the outhouse, she proudly showing adorable videos of her high-energy dancing daughter. Sara made my day, and I continue to be reminded of just how fortunate I am to have such richly compassionate people like her cross my path.
