I took dad to breakfast yesterday before me and the Archives Ladies converged for some work at the historical society. Dad enjoys breakfast at Waffle House which is conveninetly located a block from the hospital in Mt. Sterling. It was so cute! They had it decorated for Easter, and the waitresses donned bunny ears. Our waitress, Audrey, was pleased as punch to model for the camera. Though he didn’t have a set of bunny ears, dad did his best bunny face impression for me despite being so tired he could hardly talk. God love his heart, they just don’t make ‘em like him very often. Talk about a hard working trooper of a man; that’s my pop. I’m one very lucky woman.
