“One does not walk into a forest and accuse the trees of being off-center, nor do they visit the shore and call the waves imperfect. So why do we look at ourselves that way?” ~ Unknown

and the bees
…and the bees (snapseed)

Four days ago my largest peach tree (of two) had a single bloom. Today, it was fully loaded and buzzing with dozens of bees (I find that very hopeful). These two bees were, well, we’ll say they were enjoying some special time together. The lunch ladies, feeling the need to enjoy the gorgeous day, went out for lunch. That’s when Crystal stopped to photograph this beautiful Northern Magnolia on campus. Did I mention it was a completely splendid day in The Bluegrass? Spring is upon us. It is a time of renewal. The smell of fresh air, chirping birds, and warm sunlight can change a bad day into a good one. What a bonus that I was having a good day to begin with.
