On this day eight years ago an F3 tornado destroyed West Liberty. Today, a different kind of tornado hit. It hit my kitchen to be exact. Finally, finally, finally the remodeling job is on the road to being finished. In one day, the way God intended, the wall came out and the beam went in. Tomorrow, the poor-choice shelves come out and the walk-in pantry I was promised goes in. And soon the little house will have a floor just in time for the weather to warm up and keep the creepy crawlies out. The week is off to a smashing – ha ha – start.
