I promised Elaine Heis I would let her know when the Siberian Iris’ she gave me many years ago bloomed. Well, virtually overnight, a lot of them sprang forth. I thinned them last year, and now they’re dotting the landscape beautifully. They’re such thin, delicate flowers, but they pack a deep purple punch that I love. Thank you for the beauty, Mama Heis. You made my day…again.
