Photog friends Benita Clarke and Crystal Heis have recently posted beautiful photos of their peony pollinators taken with their macro lenses. My image is no where near as beautiful but that’s all on me, not my awesome macro lens. I think we three agree: Macro rules! And getting such a close look at the ant, well, I didn’t need to know they have little spiky spikes on their abdomens. I didn’t need to know that. But, whatever. I’m grateful for all they do for the peonies, spiky bottoms or no.
