If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.”                           ~ Thich Naht Hanh

you never know

You never know what you’ll run into on a college campus. Today, it was some poor person dressed as a giant jelly bean. This is when we say, “Bless their heart”, and really mean it because it was 85 degrees outside the suit. They had to be dying inside the suit.

But wait, there’s more. I wonder what neurosis it takes to lay out in the sun, in a two-piece bathing suit in front of W.T. Young Library during finals week? Whatever it is, I’m glad I don’t have it.

because I need a lot of attention
