Making my way to the Drum Center who should I run into but BFF John Johnson. It’s always a great day when I get to see his smiling face, and today was a bonus day for yours truly. Finally, I got to meet the love of his life, his wife, Michelle! I loved her immediately, and not because he loves her, but because I could see she that loves him, too. Warmed my heart to the core. When she realized who I was she stuck out her arm to hug me. She is such a sweet soul. Johnny has told me for years how much he adores Michelle, and it’s just a crying shame it has taken this long to meet her. I hope we’re able to meet up again when work isn’t involved so we can all catch up with one another. She’s a keeper, just like him.
