This guy right here made my day. I hadn’t been in the office long before Clark Tauson came by on his way to class. He regaled me with stories that both shocked me and made me snort. He proudly showed slow motion video of his son flying into a giant pile of leaves (who didn’t love to do that as a kid?). Our visit ended with a long, warm heartfelt hug. I’m not much of a hugger, but I gladly accepted his. Clark set the tone for the rest of the day that was filled with uplifting calls and visits from friends and co-workers alike. I’m eternally grateful that Clark and I ran into each other at Kroger a year ago. It was a significant reconnection. He makes my life sweeter, and man, does he have the best stories.

I only came across this for the first time today… ( I googled myself), Kopana, I don’t know what it is about you… but I’ve always felt a warm connection between us. It doesn’t matter how long between the crossing of our paths, I will never not see you as being among the most welcoming and kindest of creatures I’ve had the honor of knowing… Thinking fondly of you.
