“Happiness cannot be far behind a grateful heart and a peaceful mind.” ~ Unknown
Do I have things for which to give thanks on Thanksgiving? How about Janet beside her new house. It’s being built by Mennonites from across the U.S. and Canada through the services of Habitat for Humanity. It’s a great floor plan, extremely well built, and might actually be done by Christmas. Then there’s family friend Charlie Conley (pictured below). Like Janet, he along with his wife, son, daughter in-law, and grandchildren, also survived the storm. They spent this holiday in their new home built atop the basement of the old home that saved their lives. Do I have things to be thankful for? I can’t begin to list them all.
