“I believe in working not waiting, in laughing not weeping,
in boosting not knocking, and in the pleasure of doing good.”
~ D. Millson (from a 1907 postcard)
There was a photo booth photographer at The Alcorn’s reception. It was one the smartest ideas I’ve seen for a wedding. Everyone loved it, and not just the kids. Each person got a strip of their photos, as did the bride and groom. What a great way to remember their guests. When I got home from the wedding I had a package waiting from Dan Kibler. Inside was another negative of an outhouse, but also a simple, yet meaningful, postcard from 1907. It provided today’s inspirational quote. Have I mentioned how blessed I am to be surrounded by so many wonderful people?
