“Wherever you are, be there totally. If you find your here and now intolerable and it makes you unhappy, you have three options: remove yourself from the situation, change it, or accept it totally.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
Getting into, and out of, the church for last Sunday’s baptism was a challenge as there was a lady bug swarm brought on by the unusually warm weather. And, yes, they were inside the church, too. This was easily the worst swarm I’ve seen to date. I don’t remember such swarms when I was a kid. It was only in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s that I saw such a thing, and it was at mom and dad’s house. Suddenly, one spring, lady bugs appeared in an upstairs window from out of nowhere and they’ve had trouble with them ever since. These lady bug swarms seem more common to me now, at least in Eastern Kentucky. The thing about lady bugs is that, once they get into the wood, they’re nearly impossible to eradicate, and they stink if you squish them. Good thing they don’t sting.

Oh my God…..those bugs are horrible…… No way to get rid of them. I’m still using the vacuum for them.!
