“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!”

I’ve had a migraine for two days. I was so sick with it this morning that I almost didn’t catch my flight to California. But, I received a prayer from my sweet daddy and that made it bearable. I began to look forward to seeing the western landscape that I’d not seen in far too long. By the time we got to Kansas, the skies were overcast, and they stayed that way for the rest of the flight. They parted just enough to see this stupendous sight, and if you look real close at the little ray of sunshine near the top, you’ll see part of the Grand Canyon. It is something to behold from 35,000 feet. Then, as the San Gabriel Mountains opened up to a sea of streets and buildings that stretched as far as the eye could see, I had the strangest feeling of ‘home.’ I spent so much time in LA in the late 1980’s that I felt like I was coming home. Beautiful California, oh how I’ve missed you.
