I’m sure thankful there are direct fights to and from Washington DC, but lordy, how I wish they flew at reasonable hours. Going there meant getting up at 4 am, coming back called for 5 am. I’m not a morning person, but I’d get up every day at those hours to work with David Brunton and Nathan Yarasavage (below). They’re two of the smartest men I know and equally sweet. It doesn’t hurt that they’re completely adorable, too.

If you read yesterday’s post, you remember I said that I walked back to my hotel after dark. Below is some of what I found along the way. No matter what you might think of the politicians in DC, there’s one thing we can surely agree on: DC’s architecture is amazing, and the photographic possibilities endless. Okay, that’s actually two things. In any case, what a beautiful end to a beautiful week.
