Don’t you feel inspired by a clock? Clocks have done more to harm the human psyche than just about anything, except maybe war, pestilence, and famine. There’s nothing natural about them. The sun, now there’s an invention; much more reasonable, flexible. Farm animals don’t care that we spring forward and fall back. The sun tells them when it’s time to eat. Planting and harvesting are dictated by the sun. The sun has ruled the world since the beginning of time. Time…clocks….oh, no, time clocks – abominations! (are you laughing yet?) Seriously, though, living by numbers is no way to live. I was never inspired by a clock…but this one, as a photo, is kinda nice to look at.
