A week ago tonight I was having dinner with my BFF Lisa Banyai at Kramerbooks in Dupont Circle. Dinner at a bookstore, I hear you asking? Why, yes, and it was some of the finest food I’ve ever had. Killer shrimp and grits with andouille sausage good enough to make you wanna slap yer granny. The bookstore itself was just as awesome. It’s a good thing I had only a small bag, or I would have spent way too much money. The whole trip was worth those few hours with Lisa. We always have such great talks. That’s what makes a BFF.
