Happy Pugmas (snapseed)

I was meandering through Kroger this evening, hunting and gathering like I do, when lo this Christmas sweater reached out and smacked me. I thought of Tracy Hawkins. He and Lori-Lyn have two pugs they love mightily. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if their Christmas card next year features matching sad-santa-pug cookies and milk sweaters. How stinkin’ cute would that be? I should Photoshop them into the sweaters just to confirm cuteness overload.

Santa Claws (snapseed)

It was grocery night in preparation for Thanksgiving. I had put it off as long as I could. The first thing I saw when I walked in was Santa Claws. I really did laugh out loud. It’s such a “me” sweater that I was tempted to buy it. I bought a bigger ham instead. Holiday or no, I generally dread going to the grocery. The funny sweater helped take the edge off, and then I heard, “Oh good. I need a hug.” I’m sure there was more, but that’s all I heard. It was Heidi Morrow headed toward me in the deli. What a compliment that was, huh? Made my day. We had a lovely chat between the cakes and olives, and shared another hug before parting. Moral of the story? If I saw Heidi and ugly Christmas sweaters every time I went to the grocery, going to the grocery wouldn’t be so bad.

just…no (snapseed)

No. Just, no. It’s not even Halloween yet, but these men’s Christmas sweaters are front and center at Kroger. I suspect they’re hideous on purpose. Nevertheless, the sloth Christmas tree sweater made me laugh out loud. Who thought of sloths in a Christmas tree? Whoever it was I love their sense of humor. And the angry cat? Hilarious!
