Crystal Heis is crafty. She helped her boyfriend’s daughters make cupcakes, then decorate them as groundhogs, albeit a few days late for the holiday. She had a half dozen left over, so us lunch ladies felt like we won the lottery when she brought them to work. I was running, yes running, down the hall with my camera in hand when I was struck by this thought, “I love the people I work with. I’m running down the hall of Special Collections and no one thinks it’s unusual. I love where I work!” True story. It was a grand day indeed.
