I’m sure this photo captures the mood of the Big Blue Nation (BBN) this evening. If you’re unfamiliar, I’m talking about the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team. UK has one of the winningest programs in the country, and for as long as I’ve been alive, it’s been the closest thing to a pro team the state has ever had. UK played a great game against UNC for the regional bracket this evening. It was a down to the wire scream at the TV till the neighbors could hear me kind of game. I’m sorry we came out on the losing end, but it was a wonderful exhibition and both teams should be very proud. It’s nice to see players that don’t give up. Team sports teach a lot about how to be good people, and play well with others in every aspect of life. There’s always next season, and I’ll always root for the alma mater. #BBN Go Cats!
