I took an oath (to myself) that the pictures in the outhouse must be taken the same day as they’re posted. I was reflecting on how diligent I’ve had to become in order to keep that promise. Then, I started wondering what it would be like to work in a mundane office, a place with micromanagers and time clocks and rules so tight you can barely go to the bathroom much less leave the building. How hard would it be to find interesting things to photograph in a situation like that? At that moment, literally, I came upon this scene. I chuckled and thought, “silly woman, if you can’t find something interesting every day no matter where you are, then you’re just not living right.” There’s always something interesting where you are.
