Santa Claws (snapseed)

It was grocery night in preparation for Thanksgiving. I had put it off as long as I could. The first thing I saw when I walked in was Santa Claws. I really did laugh out loud. It’s such a “me” sweater that I was tempted to buy it. I bought a bigger ham instead. Holiday or no, I generally dread going to the grocery. The funny sweater helped take the edge off, and then I heard, “Oh good. I need a hug.” I’m sure there was more, but that’s all I heard. It was Heidi Morrow headed toward me in the deli. What a compliment that was, huh? Made my day. We had a lovely chat between the cakes and olives, and shared another hug before parting. Moral of the story? If I saw Heidi and ugly Christmas sweaters every time I went to the grocery, going to the grocery wouldn’t be so bad.
