The main runway of Lexington Bluegrass Airport is just a stone’s throw from the Keeneland Library. I would think it a bit unnerving at first, to be inside and hear jets sound as if they’re coming through the roof. It’s actually very quiet and serene. It’s also in a beautiful spot perched atop the hill overlooking rolling bluegrass and distant horse barns. If heaven has a library it probably looks like this, except you’ll see the wings on the horses.
