Today I was reminded that I am really digging Historic Preservation in the College of Design. I stopped by the Design Library’s reception for the Bauhaus celebration. If you’re not familiar, Bauhaus was a German art school from 1919 to 1933 that produced some of the most groundbreaking graphic design and art. Their work continues to influence artists the world over. UK’s Design Library has a complete set of their books that they displayed as part of the celebration. I didn’t have time to stick around long, but just being in the presence of artists and art aficionados made my day.
