Each week day, UKPR distributes a newsletter called UKnow. One of today’s articles concerned the Transportation Library and efforts to include their research reports in the University’s open access repository, UKnowledge (managed by UK Libraries). In July, I was asked to create a short video on the Transportation Library for the Faculty/Staff Retreat. I created a score, took all the stills, did the video filming, and finally, the post production. I think the only thing I didn’t do was the narration. But why would I when could score UK’s professional voice, Stacy Yelton, for that. (she graciously agreed to do it) Instead of a photo today, I thought I’d share that video. After all, it’s loaded with a ton of my pictures, so I figure that counts. The film is not my best work, but parts are funny, and there’s something in it that everyone seems to learn. But that was the point. Therefore, I call it a win.
