Normally I would take a picture today for today’s post, but since I took 1,000 photos yesterday and I’m still processing those, I thought I’d share two more instead. Besides, yesterday was an important day. More than the two prior reunions we’ve had, this one meant a great deal to me, I think because four of my classmates have died since the last reunion, and chances are more than that will not make it to the next reunion. What’s more, we were blessed to have with us a classmate who has defied the odds. By all accounts, Jill Cline Salyer shouldn’t be alive, but she is, and she was thrilled to be with us. She is an inspiration, and exudes a love of life and all who share it with her. She is mercy and thankfulness. What a blessing to have grown up with her and be in her company, and the company of all my classmates who have given me so much in this life.
